Where Peace dwells, a storm cloud spins,
Tapping the earth with furor as it hits and misses,
Obedience obscured by unrest.
Wounded soldier bursting with anger,
Others whose rattling silence says “Why?”
Never likely to understand.
A persistent fragile heart,
Love says be gentle,
Persistence grasps at hope that isn’t there.
Is there a kinder way to close the door?
Tapping the earth with furor as it hits and misses,
Obedience obscured by unrest.
Wounded soldier bursting with anger,
Others whose rattling silence says “Why?”
Never likely to understand.
A persistent fragile heart,
Love says be gentle,
Persistence grasps at hope that isn’t there.
Is there a kinder way to close the door?
Friend‘s unrelenting pain,
No sign of prayer’s penetration,
Trusting a Peace that’s hidden.
No sign of prayer’s penetration,
Trusting a Peace that’s hidden.
Obedience, Trust,
Love, Prayer,
Patience, Hope,
Consolation,
Assurance
In the stormsLove, Prayer,
Patience, Hope,
Consolation,
Assurance
